on February 13th, 2012 at 9:13:09 PM

Join Andy & Paul on a goofy and educational journey through the past as we expose the history of one of the most loved and hated games of all time... Monopoly. If you hate it... maybe you're playing it wrong? We have some thoughts on that and some other suggestions that could improve things. Also in this episode, another classic... Careers! as well as iPad Games (Carcassonne & Ra), a quick look at Cranium Party Playoff and (surprise!) a Gift Exchange!

National Games Week approaches!

on November 18th, 2010 at 1:42:28 PM

Whoo-hoo, it's almost National Games Week!  (It typically occurs during Thanksgiving week)

I guess technically there isn't an "official" NGW this year (it happened mainly in 2004-2006 when Mark Simmons, former publisher of Games Quarterly magazine was running it), but I think that we can all enjoy the occasion whether or not it's an officially promoted week.  I like to think of this time of the year as "Gaming Season" with all of the family and friends visiting, and the weather outside becoming frightful (depending on where you live, of course)

I'd love to see the official week get promoted
